Terrestrial Images

I have now started in some Terrestrial Photography. I am not sure where this will take me, but I am still interested in Night Photography and Weather Event Photography… I like the challenge of trying to capture images that are a little different in very very low light conditions… These are some of my shots and are my first attempts… These were all taken in the Dark or low light… I am having a good time learning this with my Brother In Law (Adam)… You will notice that some of these shots show stars in the background. This is the only indication that the images were taken in the dark. In some of the shots a small LED light was used to illuminate the rocks to boost them in the exposure. It was so dark that we needed a torch to see our camera settings.. You would find that hard to believe really… Just shows how sensitive the modern Digital Camera has become…

I will keep updating as I get better shots…

Images Taken Around Adelaide City At Night

Some time back I was out with my Brother In Law and took some night shots around the Adelaide CBD… These shots were taken using a Canon 40D and were the first night shots I had taken using a DSLR Camera…

These images are nothing too special, but give an idea of the sort of images that can be taken using a basic camera in and around a City Scape…
